With brands like LDV, Great Wall, and BYD having been around for a while, I'm curious about them. I've heard that they offer good stuff in fairly well-designed cars at competitive prices, and that's similar to the rhetoric of Kia and Hyundai a few years ago.
But, at least to me, these companies seem fairly new to the market overall compared to the more established brands. Are they built with planned obsolescence and/or cheap materials and breaking down after a few years, or are they actually reliable enough to scare other brands?
Chinese automobile producers such as LDV, Great Wall and BYD do attempt to offer exceptional vehicles at competitive costs. However, as with many manufacturers, satisfactory and reliability can vary among models and generations. It's first-rate to read owner reviews of chinese car brands and unbiased opinions of precise models to get a higher concept of their reliability and satisfactory.
