Hey folks, I’m seriously considering replacing my old carpet with wood flooring but feeling a bit overwhelmed by the choices. I keep seeing debates about engineered vs. solid wood, and I’m not sure which is best. My main concerns are longevity, maintenance, and whether it’s worth investing in real wood over cheaper alternatives. Any insights?

I’ve been through this decision myself, and engineered wood flooring in Edinburgh has a great range. Their selection includes different finishes and wood types, so you can find something that fits your space perfectly. I went with an oak finish, and it’s been super durable and easy to maintain.
