Hi all, I’m confused about racket shapes. I’m intermediate and want more power, but I don’t want to lose control. Diamond seems powerful, but is it too hard? Should I go for a teardrop or stick with round? Thoughts?

diamond rackets are power-focused but harder to control, best for advanced players. Teardrop (like Babolat Veron) balances power and control, great for intermediates. Round is safest for control, but less power. I’d try teardrop for your level.
Hey! If you’re looking for more power but still want some control, a teardrop-shaped racket is a great balance. It offers more power than a round racket but isn’t as demanding as a diamond shape. Diamond rackets are powerful but have a smaller sweet spot, which can be tough if you’re not advanced. Check https://padeltennisrackets.com/ for reviews and recommendations. Something like the Adidas Adipower Lite or Nox ML10 Pro Cup could be a great fit. Try a few and see what feels best for your game!
